I was Owner’s Representative and Build Captain. MOSAIQUE is a displacement motor yacht constructed in Aluminum & Steel designed by Ed Dubois with a Donald Starkey interior built by Turquoise Proteksan in Turkey. She has a very high equipment and interior spec. Conforming to MCA, ABS with SOLAS & MARPOL where required.

I handled issues of; regulatory compliance, quality control, progress and supplier liaison. I developed and specified with Shipyard and specialist third party suppliers; an advanced semi-integrated bridge design, Screen-based concealed wing controls, Ships LAN with Intranet and Internet access, Commercial Galley and Cold Storage, specialized inventory and planned maintenance software, AV system and Scene-setting lighting system (interior, exterior and underwater), Advanced fire fighting & detection system and an Integrated Monitoring System handling; Systems Monitoring, Surveillance, Security and Paging/Steward Call.

Extensive researches were made in all areas of ship’s equipment, fit out and operation. I refined the practical aspects of the build with the yard, with the aim of creating a highly Owner & crew friendly yacht with special emphasis on service, safety, preservation of value and ease of maintenance.

MOSAIQUE is currently cruising the Indian Ocean and will be offered for charter
